Description
This resource unit provides a collection of engaging and instructive activities and demonstrations to help teach students the fundamentals of geology and to introduce plate tectonics and history of the Earth through creative learning activities. Units in the binder address essential topics like minerals, the three types of rocks, structure of Earth, volcanoes and earthquakes, plus unique topics like Famous Rocks (global) and BC geology.

***Registration priority will be given to teachers that have not taken this workshop in the past. Please be aware that if you have taken this workshop before and still choose to register, you will be moved onto the waitlist until registration closes. Also, due to our limited resources, teachers that have received the resource kit in the past will not receive a second resource kit, should they attend the workshop.***
